Weekends in Bloom to Celebrate Cherry Blossom Season

To celebrate the spring season of cherry blossoms, magnolias, bluebells, and more, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden presents Art in the Garden: Weekends in Bloom on Saturdays, April 23, 30, and May 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visitors can listen to pop-up music and dance performances, learn about plants from BBG gardeners, participate in programs for children and families, take tours of the garden, and enjoy all that the spring has to offer at BBG during one of these three festive Saturdays.

Cherry blossom season at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is one of the most anticipated spring events in New York City. Follow the progress of cherry blossom blooms at bbg.org/cherries and discover the Garden’s other spectacular spring flowers at bbg.org/bloom.

All programs are free with entry to the garden. Tickets are compulsory. Details on this year’s spring lineup can be found below and at bbg.org/spring.

The Weekends in Bloom lineup is part of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in Bloom, a celebration of spring, with more hours and more flowers. Until May 15, the garden is open Tuesday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to sunset and Friday to Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
